Kidnapping conviction

ALBANY, N.Y. — A New York appellate court upheld the conviction of a man for assault, sexual abuse and sexually motivated kidnapping after he grabbed a 16-year-old girl’s rear, then punched her and tried to force her into his car. He says the weight of the evidence does not support the verdict, but the jury saw enough evidence to convict: surveillance video, the girl’s 911 call and her testimony at trial.
