Lab ads gagged

WASHINGTON — A federal court in Washington only partially dismissed the White Coat Waste Project’s First Amendment suit against the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, which rejected the nonprofit’s ads criticizing taxpayer-funded animal experimentation from being placed on busses, subway stations and subway cars. The group argues that some of the authority’s guidelines governing ads’ content are vague or unreasonable.
