SAN FRANCISCO – In the seemingly unending effort to thwart President Donald Trump’s environmental agenda, California and seven other states on Thursday sued the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to start enforcing rules on methane emissions from landfills.
Plaintiffs include the California Air Resources Board and the states of Illinois, Maryland, New Mexico, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont.
