BOSTON — A federal court in Massachusetts partly granted a rape survivor’s motion for judgment against her attorneys, who allegedly surprised her by expecting her to pay more than 50% of the judgment in her favor. Lawyers owe their clients a higher degree of transparency related to their contracts than is required in other contractual matters not involving attorneys.
