Library, museum funding slash still paused

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — The Trump administration asked a Rhode Island federal court to stay its preliminary injunction that halted the executive’s attempt to dismantle funding for libraries and museums, the Minority Business Development Agency and the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service. The court said no, noting its determination that the order is arbitrary and capricious “was not a close call.”
