(CN) – Oussama Abdullah Kassir was sentenced on Tuesday to life in prison for providing material support to al Qaeda: trying to set up a jihadi training camp in Bly, Ore., and operating “terrorist Web sites,” federal prosecutors said. Kassir’s co-defendants Mustafa Kamel Mustafa and Haroon Rashid Aswat are in jail in England awaiting extradition. Scotland Yard arrested Kassir in 2004.
