MANHATTAN (CN) – The former controller at Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities pleaded guilty Monday to a four-count superseding federal information charging her with conspiracy, falsifying books and records and making false filings to the SEC. As part of her plea deal, Enrica Cotellessa-Pitz agreed to cooperate with prosecutors, who continue to investigate the biggest known Ponzi scheme of all time. The SEC also sued her.
