Maryland Appeals Court

ATTORNEYS – The Maryland Court of Appeals disbarred Alan Edgar Harris for violating rules of professional conducted by transferring mutual funds to himself knowing he was not entitled to the entire amount of those funds. However, the court does not support allegations that Harris falsely informed the Bar that his request to transfer ownership of the funds was for the purpose of setting up a trust while the estate action was still pending. See ruling.
