Maryland court upholds birthright citizenship

BALTIMORE — A federal court in Maryland certified a class of children who were or will be born on U.S. soil and who challenge President Donald Trump’s executive order that seeks to end birthright citizenship. The court also enjoined the order, finding it likely violates the 14th Amendment.
