Michael Jackson's Estate to Pay Funeral Costs

(CN) – Michael Jackson’s estate will pay for the King of Pop’s funeral this afternoon, a judge in Los Angeles ruled. Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff approved the request Wednesday by Jackson’s mother, Katherine, who said the Jackson family couldn’t afford the “extraordinary” costs of the singer’s burial, The Associated Press reported.     Funeral costs were never disclosed.     Jackson will be interred in a mausoleum at Forest Lawn Glendale.
