Mine reclamation

HUNTINGTON, W.V. — A West Virginia federal judge ordered a mining operator to cease its further plans to conduct surface mining at the Buck Fork Mine, where some spoil material from the mining will be used in the reclamation of another mine, Hewitt Creek No. 1. The judge, and not a special master, will resolve a dispute over the reclamation plan.
