Missouri Appeals Court

CONTRACT, ATTORNEYS – The Missouri Court of Appeals found that the lower court improperly awarded a law firm 33.3 percent of its client’s award in a legal malpractice case. The firm’s claim that the client agreed to give it 40 percent of the award is reasonable, even though it cannot find documentation of the agreement. Reversed in part. Jerry v. Tobin
