KANSAS CITY, Mo. (CN) – A 61-year-old Kansas City man pleaded no-contest to 21 federal charges of drugging young girls’ ice cream and making pornographic videos of them. Prosecutors say James Phillip Edwards, laced ice cream and soda with Ambien and other sedatives from July 2001 to June 2005 and created multiple videos of his molestations. His victims were 6 to 13 years old. Edwards could spend the rest of his life in prison. A sentencing date has not been set.
