ATTORNEY FEES – The state appeals court found that the lower court improperly awarded attorney fees to Michael Swift, a former professional football player for the Carolina Panthers, regarding Swift’s workers’ compensation claim. It remains unclear whether the Industrial Commission, which awarded the fees, expects the team or the team’s insurance company to pay. Reversed. See ruling.
