ATTORNEYS, CIVIL PROCEDURE – A public attorney recommended that the plaintiff plead guilty to aggravated assault without advising him of the possibility or likelihood of deportation. The appellate court affirmed a ruling for the attorney, because the plaintiff failed to timely serve a notice of tort claim or file his legal malpractice complaint within the time frames imposed by the Tort Claims Act. Affirmed. See ruling.
