N.J. Appellate Division

MUNICIPAL LAW – The appellate division allowed People for Open Government and its members to pursue a lawsuit against Hoboken’s alleged failure to stop the city from awarding municipal contracts as a reward for political contributions. J. Weissbard found that plaintiffs have standing because they have a sufficient interest in the enforcement of the ordinance, beyond their status as taxpayers. See ruling.
