LOS ANGELES (CN) – A New Jersey teen-ager will plead guilty to hacking into Church of Scientology Web sites. Dimitry Guzner, 18, acknowledged being a member of a group that announced its plan to expel Scientology from the Internet in a YouTube video posted in January this year, federal prosecutors said. The group, “Anonymous,” bombarded Scientology Web sites with malicious Internet traffic, denying legitimate users access to the sites, prosecutors said. Guzner faces up to 10 years in prison for his part in the “distributed denial of service” attacks.
