No PAC needed

SAN FRANCISCO (CN) — The Ninth Circuit reverses Montana’s civil prosecution of former state Senator Ed Butcher and a colleague, who operating a website tracking Republican legislators’ voting records. The state fined them for not forming a PAC before traveling to present the website to Republican groups, but this rule is an unconstitutionally vague restriction of their political speech.
