No Uber Arbitration

A California appeals court <strong><a href="http://www.courthousenews.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Smythe-and-Uber.pdf">ruled</strong></a> that Uber cannot force arbitration with one of its drivers who also worked for Lyft and filed a <a href="https://www.courthousenews.com/lyft-drivers-say-ubersfake-calls-cost-them/"><strong>class action</strong></a> accusing Uber of creating fake rider accounts to steer Lyft drivers away from legitimate customers.

SAN FRANCISCO (CN) — A California appeals court ruled Friday that Uber cannot force arbitration with one of its drivers who also worked for Lyft and filed a class action accusing Uber of creating fake rider accounts to steer Lyft drivers away from legitimate customers.
