Ominous plushies

ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. — A federal court in North Carolina allowed a former police sergeant to bring hostile work environment claims against the town of Beaufort and its police chief. A fellow officer had called himself her “gigolo” and placed stuffed animals on her desk in lewd positions; after she confronted him about it, the animals began to appear in murderous scenes, with stuffing pulled out and mock blood applied.
