Panasonic Settlement

Panasonic agreed Friday to pay $4.7 million to indirect purchasers -- or those who bought its capacitors through distributors -- to <a href="http://www.courthousenews.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/Capacitors.pdf"><strong>settle</strong></a> price-fixing <a href="https://www.courthousenews.com/price-fixing-alleged-in-electronic-parts/"><strong>claims</strong></a>.

SAN FRANCISCO — Panasonic agreed Friday to pay $4.7 million to indirect purchasers — or those who bought its capacitors through distributors — to settle price-fixing claims.

As part of the settlement, Panasonic will also cooperate in the prosecution of non-settling defendants in the scheme.
