Partition the Goldendoodle

GEORGETOWN, Dela. — A vice chancellor denied a feuding pair of exes’ petition disputing the ownership of Tucker, the Goldendoodle they acquired while dating. The Delaware Court of Chancery is the fourth court that has heard their dispute over Tucker’s ownership; it joins the other three in finding partition the proper legal remedy because the exes jointly own the pup. “Concerned readers may rest assured that Tucker will not be partitioned in kind (i.e., physically divided), nor will he be publicly auctioned.” One will get Tucker, the other will get a monetary award.
