Pasteurization

A federal court in Washington granted summary judgment to the government in a suit challenging federal regulations that require sellers of dairy products across state lines to pasteurize their products, finding that the requirement fits with the government’s “broad power to combat the spread of infectious diseases” and that there is a “great deal of scientific research showing that pasteurization is effective at doing so.”
