Peruvian Maid Says Couple Abused Her

HARTFORD (CN) – A married couple in Old Greenwich, **Jan Danino and **Marie Briceno , illegally imprisoned their Peruvian housekeeper for nearly two years, forced her to work 80-hour weeks or more, paid her straight time for only 40 hours, confined her to the house except on rare occasions, threatened to turn her in to police or immigration if she returned late, and cheated and abused her in other ways, including physically, Deisi Ionan claims in Federal Court.
