SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — A federal court in South Dakota granted a preliminary injunction to Dakotans for Health in its suit challenging a state law governing petition circulators. The plaintiff, which wants to get a constitutional amendment on the ballot in 2022 to reform Medicaid, claims the law’s disclosure requirements for paid petition circulators violate the First Amendment.
