As a man chivalrously tried to retrieve a woman’s shoes from Huntington State Beach at closing time, a Huntington Beach police officer shouted “Stop resisting!” before he was even near him, then strangled him, bursting blood vessels in both eyes, the man claims in a <strong><a href="http://www.courthousenews.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/Police-Violence.pdf">federal complaint</a></strong> against the city and the officer.
