Pro-life flyers in school

CHICAGO — Noblesville High School did not violate the First Amendment when it refused to allow a student, who ran a pro-life club, to hang her flyers on its walls, the Seventh Circuit ruled. Allowing the flyers to be next to school-sponsored announcements in high-traffic areas would have given the impression that the school endorsed the flyers’ political views. The school’s policy on flyers is viewpoint neutral and the student was unable to show that any flyers with political content had ever been approved.
