Queen conch

WASHINGTON — The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration listed the queen conch as a threatened species, saying that it may soon be at risk of extinction. The queen conch is native to the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico, and its meat is sought after as a local delicacy.
