QUEENS — The Queens Tribune faces a summons with notice for defamation after running an editorial last year with the headline “Jody Kriss: Front for the Russian Mafia and Yanukovich.” Kriss, the former chief financial officer for luxury real estate developer Bayrock Group, filed the summons with East River Partners, of which he is a principal. Former Ukranian president Victor Yanukovich is not a party to the action.
