Reality TV, Prison Strip

The California Institution for Women broadcasts strip searches of inmates to a TV in the prison reception area, and male guards cluster around the set to watch, an inmate claims in San Bernardino County Court. She says her husband saw it all happen as he left the prison after a visit.     Christina Stachowicz demands punitive damages for constitutional violations, negligence, misrepresentation and emotional distress. She sued the state and several prison officers. She is represented by Brian Lawler with Pilot Law of San Diego.
