Red dot recall

PHILADELPHIA — A federal court in Pennsylvania dismissed a proposed class action against gunmaker Sig Sauer over allegedly defective red dot firearm sights that used easily accessible button cell batteries, which allegedly were an ingestion hazard for children. The suing consumer lacks standing because the company’s recall program appeared to fully remedy the alleged defect.
