Remorseless attorney indefinitely suspended in Maryland

ANNAPOLIS, Md. — The Maryland Supreme Court upheld the indefinite suspension of attorney Richard Sloane, who may apply for reinstatement after six months because he obstructed discovery, submitted frivolous objections and misrepresented a divorce and custody case’s history to the court. The court notes that he has not demonstrated “remorse” or and “refused to accept responsibility” for his actions, warranting the sanctions.
