Schizophrenia alone doesn’t get an insanity defense

SALEM, Ore. — An Oregon appellate court upheld the rejection of a murderer’s insanity defense, holding that his schizophrenia is not alone sufficient to render him incapacitated for the purpose of determining his guilt.
