FORT MYERS, Fla. (CN) – The SEC has frozen the assets of Founding Partners Capital Management, a Naples, Fla.-based hedge fund. The SEC also sued the firm’s founder and owner, William L. Gunlicks, “to protect and preserve approximately $550 million of investor assets the defendants have placed at risk,” according to the federal complaint.
