WASHINGTON (CN) – The SEC released an executive summary of its own Inspector General’s investigation of why the agency failed to detect Bernard Madoff’s $60 billion Ponzi scheme. The 22-page summary will be followed by the release of the entire 450-page report, SEC Chairwoman Mary Schapiro said.
