In what may be the <a href="http://www.courthousenews.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/Self-driving.pdf"><strong>first lawsuit</strong></a> of its kind, a motorcyclist claims he was knocked to the ground and injured when the self-driving Chevrolet Bolt changed lanes abruptly on Dec. 7, 2017, on Oak Street in San Francisco.

SAN FRANCISCO — In what may be the first lawsuit of its kind, Oscar Willhelm Nilsson claims in a federal complaint against General Motors that the self-driving Chevrolet Bolt changed lanes abruptly on Dec. 7, 2017, on Oak Street in San Francisco, knocking him off his motorcycle and injuring him.
