Seventh Circuit

PROBATE – A man asked the Seventh Circuit to revoke a court-appointed guardianship over his mother’s affairs because the guardian was abusing his mother, refusing to let him visit her and denying him access to her records, mail and assets. J. Posner found that the claims fall under the probate/domestic relations exception to federal jurisdiction. Affirmed. See ruling.
