Sex offender risk level

NEW YORK — A Manhattan appeals court ruled that a convicted rapist cannot be assessed a higher risk sex offender based on his refusal to accept responsibility for his crimes because he continues to maintain his innocence and cannot admit guilt without waiving his constitutional right against self-incrimination.
