Shareholder Class Action

Directors of Meridian Resource Corp. are selling out too cheaply to Alta Mesa Holdings, for 29 cents a share or $27 million, shareholders claim in Harris County Court, Houston.           Owner of 23% of the shares of Alcon Inc. claim the company’s controlling shareholders – Novartis and Nestle – are buying them out for a grossly inadequate amount, in Manhattan Federal Court.
