PINE RIDGE, S.D. – A federal judge denied a Native American tribe’s request for a restraining order against the U.S. Department of Agriculture on Thursday, finding the tribe’s request would force the USDA to approve its plan to grow hemp – effectively deciding the case before it’s been argued.
