Six Flags faces ADA suit

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — A child with spinal muscular atrophy and his parents can continue with their lawsuit accusing Six Flags New England of discriminating against the child by not allowing him to use any of its water attractions while in a physician-prescribed medical stroller. Although the child has since grown out of the specific model of medical stroller he attempted to use at the theme park, this does not negative the lawsuit because the park’s policy appears to disallow any type of stroller or wheelchair on its aquatic attractions.
