CHICAGO — American Honda Motor Co. knows its 2016 CR-Vs are prone filling with a noxious odor, but it refuses to replace the defective vehicles and cannot repair the problem, consumers claim in a federal class action. Honda allegedly suspects that the smell is coming from the combination of “Midwest fuel detergents and the material that new cars are made of.”
