Strip club used models’ images without consent

PHOENIX — A federal court in Arizona denied an insurer’s motion for judgment on the pleadings in a breach-of-contract dispute brought by several professional models whose image and likeness were used without their permission by a strip club. They seek recovery for claims resolved in their defamation lawsuit against the strip club, and the insurer has not established an “exhibitions and related marketing” exclusion in the models’ contracts applied to the advertisements at issue.
