Student Blames Antioch for Rape Abroad

COLUMBUS, Ohio (CN) – A college student claims she was raped during study abroad because Antioch University told students to interact with local people during the program, but never warned women “to never be alone with a male in his room because in Malian culture it is considered to be implied consent to have sexual intercourse.”     The plaintiff is represented in Federal Court by James Blumenstiel.
