Subtenant suit

SALEM, Ore. — The Oregon Court of Appeals upheld a trial court’s ruling in favor of a subtenant who had sued the homeowner because the tenant subletting to them locked him out of the house and removed his property. State law defines “landlord” broadly, allowing subtenants to sue homeowners over their tenants’ conduct.
