Suing Betsy DeVos

A federal judge <a href="http://www.courthousenews.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/CaliforniaDeVosmtd-ORDER.pdf"><strong>declined to dismiss</strong></a> the bulk of California’s lawsuit over U.S. Education Secretary Betsy DeVos’ decision to rescind full debt forgiveness for defrauded students of for-profit Corinthian Colleges, finding the state had adequately shown harm to its mission to educate its residents and its financial well-being.

SAN FRANCISCO – A federal judge declined to dismiss the bulk of California’s lawsuit over U.S. Education Secretary Betsy DeVos’ decision to rescind full debt forgiveness for defrauded students of for-profit Corinthian Colleges, finding the state had adequately shown harm to its mission to educate its residents and its financial well-being.
