Surf crash

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. — An appeals court in California upheld the trial court’s decision to toss a personal injury suit brought by one surfer who was struck by a longboard surfer, who dropped in on a wave without seeing the suing surfer. This is an inherent risk of surfing, so it is no basis for a tort suit.
