WASHINGTON – Days after Uncle Sam sued AT&T and T-Mobile to stop their merger on antitrust grounds, Sprint Nextel sued them on its own, claiming the “brazenly anticompetitive” merger would “push … the market back toward a 1980s-style cell phone duopoly,” with higher prices and reduced competition.
