Tennessee National Guard can deploy for task force

NASHVILLE — An appeals court in Tennessee found that various government officials, including county mayors and state congressional representatives, lacked standing to challenge the governor’s deployment of Tennessee National Guard members for the Memphis Safe Task Force. The lower court’s temporary injunction in favor of those officials is reversed and the deployment may proceed.
