PASADENA, Calif. — The Ninth Circuit revived a copyright infringement claim Tuesday against Electronic Arts over its sale of flash drives designed to look like the gem-shaped icons in its hit computer game “The Sims.” Direct Technologies designed the prototype for the “PlumbBob” drives, which Electronic Arts then had produced in China.
